Author Biography

Huang Po (Huangbo Xiyun), from Fujian, China, was a ninth century master of Zen Buddhism during the Tang Dynasty. On Dr. David R. Hawkins' exponential scale of consciousness ranging from 1 to 1000, where 200 is the level of integrity, and 500 is the level of love, Huang Po is calibrated to be at 960. Po's enlightenment, Thomas E. Uharriet shares as haiku poems. Thomas E. Uharriet, a native of Los Angeles, enjoys energy work, Yoga, meditation, spiritual books, art, music, nature, travel, public speaking, friendly conversation, and time with any of his five sons or with other loved ones.
