Author Biography

Sara Fryd has a childhood as fascinating as the stories, events, and people she writes about. She was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and spent her childhood in an American refugee camp near Munich, Germany. Before first grade she had traveled from Bremen, Germany to the port of New Orleans, Louisiana aboard the USMS Gen Harry Taylor, then to Phoenix, Arizona aboard a train. You Meet No Strangers is her first book of short stories.
