Yaletown - Paperback

by Geoff Pender (Author)

YALETOWN-where the quest for perfection begins.

To those who knew Amanda Booth, she was a successful lawyer, devoted wife, mother, and loyal friend. To police investigators, she is the center of a mystery that exposes a world of greed, lies, and corruption.

Two years earlier, a chance encounter in Istanbul brought together two affluent couples from Vancouver and New York. While friendships progress and new opportunities arise, hidden desires begin to reshape their lives in ways none of them could have anticipated.

At the heart of it all is Nina Koleski, a glamorous fashion stylist whose relentless pursuit of perfection threatens to consume everything she values most. As loyalties are tested and tensions mount, Nina finds herself walking the line between success and self-destruction.

Now, with one woman dead and suspicion closing in from all sides, a troubling question remains: Was Amanda Booth the victim of a calculated crime, or did she uncover a secret that someone was desperate to keep hidden?

Set against the backdrop of the emerging genetic revolution, Yaletown explores how far people will go in pursuit of perfection, and what happens when greed eclipses conscience.
