Word is full of foul language, not intended for underage listeners. We feel the weight of the "downpresser man", the way Peter Tosh explains; and instead of buckling under that weight, we hold our faith and ask that downpresser man, "where you gonna run to?" In the Tao Te Ching, the way is eternal. The way is accepting. It is 81 poems that get me through my hardest days and compliment my easiest. I call Word the anti-tao because it is full of all the petty and base reactions that come when we are faced with adversity, with choices, with day to day struggles. When we don't have the composure to think through or meditate on the Tao, the true way, our guts and hormones pulse with natural instinct. Word recognizes those moments of weakness, of self-absorption.
