Author Biography

Mahdy Y. Khaiyat holds degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is a free-lance editor and translator. He started writing poetry in 1990. The publication of his first poem in a literary magazine in the same year encouraged him to continue writing. His poems have been published in periodicals in the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Japan, Belgium, Enland, Finland, New Zealand, and Argentina.
