Author Biography

Ethan Tapper, is a forester, bestselling author, and content creator from Vermont. Since being released in 2024, Ethan's first book, How to Love a Forest: The Bittersweet Work of Tending a Changing World, has been named to several bestseller lists and endorsed by prominent environmental writers including Doug Tallamy, Ben Goldfarb, and Bill McKibben. Ethan also writes a column in Northern Woodlands magazine and contributes to various other publications. When he's not writing, Ethan runs his own consulting forestry company, Bear Island Forestry.
