Author Biography

Frank Barham did his undergraduate studies at East Tennessee State University then went on to earn an M.D. degree from the University of Tennessee. After practicing medicine for a number of years, he earned a master's degree in health services administration (MSHA) then worked as a hospital administrator. Late in life, Dr. Barham earned a master's degree in the medical humanities (MMH), majoring in bioethics, from Drew University. He continued his studies at Drew for a doctor of letters (D. Lit.) in ethics.
