Author Biography

Vera Zubarev, Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania where she is currently teaching courses on Russian and comparative literature. She is the author of 17 books, Including poetry, prose, and literary criticism, a Poet Laureate of the Paustovsky Municipal Prize, a first Poet Laureate of the International Bella Akhmadulina Prize and other international literary prizes. Her scholarly articles have appeared in various journals, collections, and monographs.
