It is empowered by a rhetoric evoking grievance against all politicians and the media. It uses slogans to arouse anger and negative feelings; it is not hindered by facts or critical thinking. Winning by whatever means possible, even by bullying and serial lying, is the primary objective. Adulation of the leader excuses his tactics. Author Biography

Paschal Baute, Ed. D., retired psychologist is a blind Veteran who has served his country over 24 years, from 1948-1972, in all four branches of our military. He tells this story, of surviving a troubled childhood in his memoir Resilience of a Dream Catcher, discovered inch by inch.
