Author Biography

Joe Gandurski grew up near the stock yards on Chicago's south side. After serving in the US Army in Vietnam, Joe joined the Chicago Police Department where he served for 31 years in a variety of assignments, retiring as deputy chief. He earned his Master's Degree in Education from Saint Xavier University. Joe has also written feature and short film screenplays. A lifelong Chicagoan, he loves his city and appreciates the positive contributions and sacrifices of those who helped build it. Joe can be reached at: Jmountie1@gmail.com
