Author Biography
James Smith (1782-1867), the son of a wealthy merchant of Scotland, devoted his life to the pursuit of yachting and the study of geography, nautical matters, and the writings of Luke. The Voyage and Shipwreck of St. Paul was first published in 1848 and last published in 1880 in a fourth edition.
