Losing isn't always losing, in fact there is great victory in ending up at the wrong end of our expectations. This book is entitled "The Victory in Losing" for this very reason. We are often disappointed because we miss the mark represented by being first, being the best or being recognized as the victor. There are so many life instances that teach us that in order to win sometimes we have to lose and to attain something great we first have to let some things go. Winning the war may involve losing some of the battles. Being a better person may mean losing yourself as you are. Seeing the bigger picture may mean losing sight of the smaller and less important things. God sometimes denies our requests or take us through a season of hardship in preparing us for a greater victory. Some of the poems that speak to the title include: The Victory in LosingNo Peace without WarShe died that dayRunningNone of this MattersAnd more.....

Author Biography

Kaz Antonio is a Jamaican born and raised writer. Poetry has always been his first love in writing but he also writes stories. His reserved nature, passion of nature and being a firm servant of God provide the right chemistry for his writing. Most of the motivating factors for his literature are from a spiritual source-God, personal experiences and meditations. It is such a rewarding feeling to compose thoughts and feelings on paper that probably could not have been expressed any other way. What is even more rewarding and humbling is the experience of having a reader immersed in the literature and they can share the moment the way it was thought about and felt.
