The Vault of Kings: Northrinde - Paperback

by Blake Davis (Illustrator), Matt Taylor (Author)

"At last, the time has come. You will be the first to witness my ultimate victory. Lift up your heads, for the Kingdom of Darkness is soon at hand. Thank you, for personally delivering to me the key to the Vault of Kings."

With one final stone left to find, Sylas and his friends find themselves traversing through the deep and deadly snow of the frozen lands of Northrinde. The extreme conditions of the icy continent prove to be much more dangerous than anticipated, burying their once firm hope deep beneath the deathly cold of the snowy landscape. Tragedy strikes when half of Sylas's companions mysteriously disappear, leading the others on a desperate mission to find their lost friends before it's too late.

Jaandsun and Thren encounter more of their own mysteries as they master the power of the Void. Meanwhile, Maelos obtains a powerful new minion; one that threatens any chance at victory... one that commands the fierce and destructive power of Lightning. With only one option remaining, Jaandsun, Thren, and their small band of warriors find themselves confronting death head on, entering into the dark and forbidden world of Outer Darkness.

Strange visions and ominous dreams fill the minds of our heroes as they discover new worlds and encounter mysterious creatures. A looming nightmare threatens all hope, depicting the Dark Mage himself as victorious, holding the key to the ultimate power - the fully completed key to the Vault of Kings - within his terrible grasp. Will good conquer evil? Or will the Darkness that has reigned supreme for over a decade prove to be too powerful to overcome?
