The annual Vampire Preservation Society meeting was the most anticipated event of the year. Members from around the world converged at a chosen location to celebrate, socialize, and conduct seminars on survival and ritual techniques. The 2015 meeting was being held in Gloucester, Massachusetts, a small fishing village hugging the coast of New England. The proximity to Salem, home of the infamous Salem witches, played a role in providing a safe environment for immortals who wanted to explore the area in an inconspicuous manner. Individuality and metaphysics were the norm in the tiny town and eccentricities were encouraged and welcomed by all.

Colleen J. Pallamary is the author of Scammunition: How To Protect Yourself From Con Artists: A Guide For Baby Boomers And Beyond and has been working on scam prevention issues for nearly fifteen years. She recently published a biography on her Mother's career in show business titled Meet Bridgeport's Sweetheart Colleen J. Bartram. She is an AHA Certified CPR/First Aid Instructor, an Extra Class Ham Radio Operator, and has an Honorary Doctorate in Metaphysics Degree. The Vampire Preservation Society is her first novel.
