Author Biography

Frances Patton Statham, author, musician, visual artist, and lecturer, has received numerous international, national, and regional awards in all four disciplines. Chosen Georgia Author of the Year in Fiction on three occasions, Statham graduated magna cum laude from Winthrop University, received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Georgia, with further opera study with Ernesto Vinci and Ralph Errolle. She has given voice recitals in such cities as Singapore, Budapest, Madrid, and Vancouver. A resident of metro-Atlanta, she is listed in a number of Who's Who reference books, including International Who's Who of Authors and Writers, Dictionary of International Biography, Personalities of the South, and Contemporary Authors.
