Author Biography

Sanjay Saint, MD, MPH, MACP is the Chief of Medicine at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, the George Dock Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan, and the Director of the VA/University of Michigan Patient Safety Enhancement Program. His scholarly work focuses on enhancing patient safety, clinical decision-making, and medical education.

Vineet Chopra, MD is Chairman and Professor, Department of Medicine, at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. His research focuses on improving hospital safety, particularly by preventing complications from peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs).
