I left school fully intending to enjoy a life as a beach bum, painting and being "creative", however, living on the west coast of Wales I quickly discovered that to be a successful beach bum required a large budget for waterproofs and fleecy jackets. it was clear that I was going to have find something else to do with my life. It was at that point I attempted to join the rest of the world and learn things, to become a productive member of society, and so I went dutifully to art college, only to find that this was not going to be the path to enlightenment I was seeking.
