Author Biography

Jane Emerson is a Speech and Language Therapist, author, Founder and Patron of Emerson House Learning Centre for teaching children with special educational needs in literacy and mathematics.

Robert Jennings is the former Head of Maths at Emerson House and co-founder of The Dyscalculia Network, which is targeted at providing training and advice for teachers and parents of pupils who have maths difficulties. Rob is a member of The British Psychological Society for Educational Assessors.

Both Jane and Robert have many years of experience of training teachers as well as assessing and teaching pupils who have difficulties in maths and/or dyscalculia.
