The lectures provided a valuable view of the legal profession and its impact on American society through the eyes of a person who has greatly contributed to both. This volume is made up of Mr. Jaworski's prepared lectures and transcriptions of the tape recorded question and answer sessions that followed them.

Author Biography

Leon Jaworski (LL.B. Baylor University and LL.M. George Washington University) served as Past President of the American Bar Association, Past President of the State Bar of Texas, and Past President of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Before his death in 1982, Jaworski served as Special Prosecuter of the Watergate Special Prosecution Force and as Chief of War Crimes Trial Section of the U.S. Army in the European Theater.
