"Our films seek to capture the spontaneous, intuitive reactions of anonymous people who inhabit, adapt, endure or enjoy spaces they didn't necessarily choose but which condition their lives," the artists write in the book's foreword. The 12 architects they speak with--some strangers, some old friends--discuss their own personal embodiment of space and how it relates to their practice; in other words, "what moves them in architecture." Currently in its sixth printing, this book is now made available to the United States market for the first time.
