by Betty Taylor (Author)

Betty Taylor has put together a memorable assortment of poems and essays, a look at the days of two-seaters and rubbering on party lines, with humor offsetting the more serious pieces. A retired schoolteacher, she writes of former students, and casts a ruthless light on her own struggles. Readers will applaud the talents of an author who skillfully articulates life's ups and downs, the pages herein offering a glimpse of writing so masterfully done that they need only to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Author Biography

Betty Taylor lives with her husband, Orville, in Hartley, Iowa; she has three children and six grandchildren. As a retired teacher, she found encouraging and facilitating writing to be the most rewarding part of her classroom experience. In their retirement years she and Orv sold antiques from their home shop, malls, flea markets and shows. Their extensive travels in the United States and Canada combined tourism with buying antiques to restock their shelves. In the past few years Betty has traded her obsession with antiques for an obsession with writing.
