The Djinn Letters - Paperback

by Greg Shealy (Author)

When a newly hired history professor dies in a gruesome, impossible fire inside a locked campus office, Dr. Greg Shealy expects tragedy--not a mystery that defies physics, identity, and reason.

Moments before his death, the victim printed a cryptic message: "Contact Dr. Erdman. Djinn are coming. Trust no one." What follows is a trail of letters, transcripts, and secret correspondence linking Las Vegas casinos, a missing Afghan scholar, and a shadowy organization known only as "the Council." As Shealy investigates, he uncovers a terrifying possibility--his colleague may never have truly existed, and his research into ancient entities called Djinn may have made him a target.

Told through academic letters, reports, and recovered documents, this chilling epistolary thriller blends supernatural horror with intellectual suspense. As reality frays and unseen forces close in, one question remains: Was this a suicide or the first strike in a war humanity doesn't know it's already losing?
