Modern day criminals sometimes evade law enforcement and the judicial system using high-priced attorneys who compromise justice by turning evildoers into victims of the failings of our society. The Council of Five, however, was old school. Justice was not for sale. Neither was it compromised. Right and wrong were not vacillating principles which could be re-tooled to fit new circumstances.
