The truth is, I started writing this because I was lonely. Not just for friends or romance. I was lonely for myself.

For the parts I had hidden or hardened. For the softness I had buried beneath productivity and armor. For the woman I kept tucked away.

This didn't begin as a book. It began as a journal. I'm used to putting classes together to pass the time, and when I'm not working, there is so much time. One evening, while scrolling, I came across a video of people using AI for therapy.

At the same time, I had started pulling tarot cards, learning to interpret them and realizing how much the imagery mirrored my life. I asked AI about the cards just out of curiosity. It offered a journaling prompt. And somehow . . . that was the beginning.
