Bombs and Me is a collection of poems and thoughts that highlight one young female Soldier and her experiences in war. The author served as a chaplain assistant in a combat engineer battalion, during the surge of 06'-08' in Iraq, traveling to various bases where her units companies were sent to clear the routes from IEDs. An uncommon thing, she spent 15 months with the men, riding along with them as they found IEDs, or the IEDs found them.
