by F. a. Rawe (Author)

Stony McGraw is a Colorado cowboy on his annual hunting trip when a twist of fate takes him halfway around the globe as an agent in 1960's Bangkok. What starts out as an adventure for Stony and his family quickly becomes the darkest days when his wife is murdered. Vowing to find who killed her, he sends his children home and stays in Thailand. He has one year before being sent stateside. With roadblocks at every turn and a boss overloading him with assignments he wonders if it is all in vain. Giving up hope of finding his wife's killers and ever falling in love again, he becomes a target himself. He must trust his friends and a new special lady. As he gets closer to the truth he finds the lengths at which someone will go to hide it.

Author Biography

The author, F.A. Rawe, (Tony to his friends) has always taken the road less traveled. Born and raised in Kentucky, he joined the Army at seventeen where he worked for three different U.S. Intelligence agencies. During this time he lived in Japan, Turkey, Switzerland, Austria and Bangkok where this novel, Thai Watch, is set. After the military he combined his love of the outdoors and "old west" becoming a Colorado cattleman settling on a ranch in the high plains. Both careers have been filled with adventure lending firsthand experience with being shot, stabbed, set afire, re-arranged facial features, concussions and having both legs broken by an enraged bull. He half jokingly says his biography, if he ever writes one, would be titled after the road sign, "rough road ahead."
