Supply and Demand and the Lemonade Stand is a book to aid in teaching economic concepts to children from 2nd-5th grade. The story is about a kid who wants to earn enough to buy a remote controlled car, but he must first find the best price for lemonade so he can maximize his profits. The book is written at an accessible level, and it is encouraged to be used in gradeschool classrooms where economics is a part of the curriculum. There are two companion books as well - Competitive Little Lads and Ladies, and Opportunity Cost and the Mystery of the Left Socks Lost.
