Myocardial infarction (MI) is the term used for an event of Heart attack which is due to blockage of the arteries resulting in absent of blood flow to the myocardium and causing muscle death. The study has performed to evaluate the safety and adverse effects of Ivabradine in patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction. A total number of 65 Ivabradine administered cases in Acute Myocardial Infarction are enrolled in the study. The data of patients were categorized according to age groups, gender, diagnosis, comorbidities and adverse effects. The study concludes that Ivabradine is a drug that reduces heart rate by inhibiting the cardiac If channels.
