Southern African Liberation Movements and the Campaign for Representation at the United Nations, 1962-1975 is an in-depth study of the struggles by the Southern African liberation movements for representation at the United Nations during the period under investigation. It also discusses the world body's responses to those campaigns and the role played by the Organisation of African Unity (now known as the African Union) during those struggles. The book equally shows not only how the campaigns by those liberation movements have influenced representation at the UN but also how they have helped to shape some the decisions of the O.A.U.
