Joe, the reluctant war hero, is devoted to Rita. And, Rita, who has waited tables paying for college, is devoted to Joe. He has just returned home. She is graduating next week. They are starting their new lives together. It should be idyllic; and might be except for George, a vindictive and vengeful manipulator and bully, plotting to see them suffer. He may not intend for the lies posted online to lead to violence. But when they do, George revels in escaping punishment for the carnage.

Author Biography

Patrick M. Benson was born in Seattle, Washington and now lives in Flagstaff, Arizona. Mr. Benson spent forty years as an applications programmer, software engineer and systems manager before turning to creative writing. His other works include the very technical "Database Sockets - Web Application and Development" published in 2012. This is a examination of the technology now supporting high-speed web traffic and e-Commerce. Another stage play, Hearing, received an Honorable Mention in the 2011 Writer's Digest Annual Writing Contest.
