Mercedes Douglas has been writing for many years, beginning with her love of poetry and short stories. While in college she discovered her untapped talent for writing children's stories. Mercedes continues to work on several projects, which include children's books, YA novel and an adult novel. She enjoys all things crafty, gardening and traveling. She lives near Atlanta, GA with her husband, Stefan and their dog, Sophia.
