DONNA LEE LOCKARD resides in Willow Grove, PA with her husband Rob, and their 13 pets. Mrs. Lockard's love of animals and first-hand experience with a classroom tortoise on Summer vacation inspired her to write and illustrate Sasha the Tortoise's Summer Vacation.
