Author Biography

Clifton King is a widely published Southern California poet and self proclaimed beach bum. His work has appeared in numerous anthologies and online. He has published five books of poetry. He received the Friends of the Humanities Excellence in Literature Award in 2007 and 2010. He believes a poem is not complete until it makes that journey from written page to spoken word. He is retired from the inconvenience of working for a living and lives in Carlsbad, California with his wife Katie, their two dogs, a cat and a desert tortoise.
