Roly Poly Hates Her Curly Tail: Roly Poly destesta su cola rizada - Paperback

by Gail Fairfield (Author), Norma Kaminsky (Translator)

Roly Poly Hates her Curly Tail is a bi-lingual book in English and Spanish. Children, ages 3-7, can easily relate to Roly Poly as she compares herself to other dogs who have special, glorious, and magnificent tails. Roly Poly talks with her friend Lulu and searches online with Granny Blue Jeans to discover what she might like about her own tail. Charmingly illustrated with Gail Fairfield's alcohol ink paintings - with images of the real dog, Roly Poly, added - it's a heartwarming reminder of each individual's value. The Spanish translation, by Norma Kaminsky, is incorporated directly into the book so that people may easily read the English or Spanish version (or both). Roly Poly Hates her Curly Tail is a great standalone, an impactful tool for bilingual learners, and a follow up to Fairfield's first book, The MOSTLY True Stories of Roly Poly's Great Lake Adventures (also available in Spanish, translated by Kaminsky).
