Sam Lightner Jr. is a published author and writer, having written for such publications as Outside, Adventure Traveler, Rock and Ice, and Climbing magazine, among others. He has published six books on climbing for a variety of publishers. He stars in the Outdoor Life Network show Batu Lawi: Tower of Borneo and has made other television and radio appearances.
