Infectious diseases represent one of the major public health concerns on the global level.

The emergence and re-emergence of different RNA viruses (influenza, SARS-CoV-1, MERS,

CHIKV, Zika and SARS-CoV-2) remain a major concern for public health control worldwide

[1,2]. In every disease outbreak, valuable knowledge about virus-host interactions

can be learnt to better manage and control the spread of RNA virus diseases.
