"Results Will Vary is a brilliantly crafted novel blending the mystery of a sinister tool box and the plight of a fatherless boy."

Nebula Award Winner Sheila Finch

A year after his father's disappearance, Friday is gifted a mysterious tool box his mother claims to be from his father. Does the secret of his disappearance lie within? So begins Friday's quest as he masters these tools to craft increasingly difficult, possibly magical, and ever more dangerous creations moving him closer to solving the mystery. If Friday fails in his quest, then his father will be lost forever. Yet if he succeeds, Friday will enter a world from which neither of them might ever return.

In this YA urban fantasy, fourteen-year-old Friday experiences the grief of a missing father and the wonder of first love, as he struggles to understand what it is to become a man in our confusing times.
