Author Biography

Richard Norman is a strategist, researcher, and futurist working at the borderlands of sport and society. He works with organizations such as Curling Canada, Hockey Canada, viaSport BC, the Carnegie Initiative, and MLSE LaunchPad to ensure sport is a space to connect, compete, and belong at the highest levels.

Jon Olbey is a Toronto-based illustrator, born and raised in Alberta. He received his Bachelor of Design from OCAD University.

Shelby Gagnon is an Anishinaabe/Cree artist from Aroland First Nation. She currently lives in Thunder Bay and is an arts educator, hide tanner, muralist, and advocate for the lands and waters.
