Down with the Dragon Riders

As a royal diplomat Lyssandra Stamos dreamed of becoming her kingdom's hero. She never thought she'd return to her homeland on the back of a coveted dragon with a message from their enemies. At their borders the Aurelian threat continues to grow and Edvern, the key to Moira Tallermayne's downfall, is missing.

Forced to confront the sins of her nation's rulers, Lyssandra must ask herself what truly makes a monster and how far would she go to protect the ones she cares for?

Injured, starved and half naked, Edvern Tallermayne has narrowly escaped the clutches of his despotic grandmother. He now knows the dragon riders' ancient secret; how they controlled the hearts and minds of dragons for centuries. His theft of the dyrathakin egg from Gytall Spire has weakened the riders. Dragons are escaping, and Moira is desperate for answers. Along with two defected dragons, a general and his rebel associates, Edvern plans to steal the remaining dyrathakin eggs and end Moira Tallermayne's rule forever.

But the wild dragons are stirring in the earth, water and sky ... and they want their revenge too.
