Reflections On A Wonderful Life - Hardcover

by Philip Jr. Newton Eskew (Author)

Born 110 days before Pearl Harbor in small-town Wabash, Indiana, Philip Eskew knew by first grade he wanted to be a doctor, and he spent the next eight decades proving it. Drawing on diaries kept by three generations, A Wonderful Life traces his path from a 1940s Midwest childhood through a distinguished career as an OB/GYN, service as a Brigadier General in the Indiana Guard Reserves, national leadership roles with ACOG and Rotary International, and induction into three university athletic halls of fame. Rich with real headlines and family history, this is a sweeping, deeply personal American memoir of purpose, persistence, and service.
