Ray Russell – Dangerous Bends Music CD

British guitarist Ray Russell spent decades as one of London's most in-demand session players, lending his distinctive, effects-laden tone to records across jazz, rock, and film scores before stepping out as a leader. *Dangerous Bends* finds him in fully unleashed mode, the kind of exploratory guitar work that rewards listeners who like their six-string music with real teeth. If Bill Frisell and John McLaughlin had a more darkly cinematic cousin, Russell might be it.
