Author Biography

Jean Bell worked for more than twenty years in the prison system, dealing with issues that dominate the news today: risk-assessment of pedophiles, tracking gang activities, and escape prevention and apprehension. In her last job before retirement, she was in charge of security at her state's largest maximum security prison. Bell is an award-winning writer of essays and short fiction.
