The book explores the Lord's Prayer - the how-to-pray guide that Jesus taught in response to an unnamed disciple's request, "Lord, teach us to pray." The book develops the structure of the prayer - the address, the first three petitions about God, and the last three petitions dealing with the stuff of our lives - identifying the spiritual truths upon which each section is built.
