Sometimes the weather didn't cooperate with the farmers who plowed fields near the Tennessee River that sometimes overflowed her banks before Tennessee Valley Authority built dams to check angry waters. But throughout all of the hard times, families survived and thrived. They played their music. Lived and loved. And sometimes mourned while holding on to the faith they brought with them across the Atlantic ocean in the 1600's. This collection of poems by Author Vicki H.
