Poetry Within the State - Paperback

by Emmett Corbett (Author)

'Poetry within the State' invites readers to traverse a landscape wrought with the stark realities of modern Ireland, vividly conveyed through a collection of poems. This collection shares potent insights of social critique, entwining strands of hypocrisy and double standards with threads of injustice stitching through the fabric of today's society.

The poet's voice oscillates between anger and advocacy, despair and devotion, capturing the depths of societal two-tier systems and the enduring human struggle to live by one's moral compass.

The poems in "Poetry within the State" are not mere words arranged upon a page; they are a pulsating heartbeat of awareness, an outcry for change that echoes the silent murmurs of the unnoticed in Irish society. They serve as a profound exploration of confronting social problems-inequality, human rights issues, and the dynamic face of injustice.

Yet, amidst the critical observation lies a core of spirituality. Some verses are whispered prayers, seeking solace and guidance in a higher power, offering gratitude and seeking divine direction amidst the chaos of worldly challenges.

For every reader who has witnessed or been scarred by disparity, 'Poetry within the State' offers not just words on injustice, but also an invitation to feel, reflect, and perhaps join in advocating for a more equitable future.

Indulge in this deep, heartfelt collection to experience a powerful blend of social commentary and poetic grace.
