We have made full characterization of ten tropical wood species, including chemical composition. The statistical analysis by multivariate regression models of our results indicated some relationships, as the coefficient of determination (R ) and analysis f variance ANOVA indicated that the equations for 10 of 16 properties are significant to estimate physical and mechanical properties of wood.
