Author Biography

Peter Chelnik is an American Highway Poet. He has written a novel of the 1960's: Trick Bag. Peter has had 8 plays produced at the American Theater of Actors, NYC. Several plays including Parking Lot, Moving Target and Scarsdale Station. He has written 16 books of poems; several are Railroad Heart, Manhattan Wilderness, Eternity Road and Paradise Highway. Peter is the third place winner of the Allen Ginsberg Award of 1997 and was nominated for the Pushcart Poetry Prize. He believes in craft, vision and the great American Experiment.
