Pedro's Delivery - Hardcover

by Mark Staples (Author), Sandra Jessop (Illustrator)

Children may not know that chocolate begins with cocoa beans. Few know the incredible journey those beans take before becoming the treats we enjoy every day.

In Pedro's Delivery, readers travel alongside Pedro, a Filipino seafarer helping transport cocoa beans from West Africa to the United States. Along the way, they discover the ships, ports, workers, and teamwork that make global trade possible.

Inspired by real people and events, this beautifully illustrated picture book introduces children to the world of merchant shipping and the dedicated seafarers who help deliver the products we depend on daily.
