Irene S. Switankowsky writes on medical ethics and ethics. She is the author of A New Paradigm for Informed Consent (University Press of America, 1998) and A Patient-Centered Approach for the Terminally-Ill (University Press of America, 2011). She has a book that is forthcoming entitled A Patient-Centered Approach to Geriatric Care.
