Once you become a parent, you're always a parent. This book shares the experiences of raising three kids, ages 3, 15 & 16 as the book begins, and adults 20 years later, when the author reflects back on those same parenting issues and how much has, and has not, changed. The issues include a child's involvement in sports, romance, homework, drinking, computers, and money management, among others.

Author Biography

Linda has been a parent for 36 years and a writer for many more. After teaching English in college and writing for Apple computer, she wrote a parenting column for a local newspaper, and a personal computing column for The Seattle Times, which was later syndicated by McClatchy-Tribune. She's also author of five books, but mostly she's a mom, even though the kids are all grown up now.
